This design was clearly inspired by a summer day's scorching heat. But here, we also have cool, cool water as in this lake or slow moving river. The heat is read hot with bright red, orange, yellow and white hot white. The waves of heat are rising from the ground. But this painting is not all about being too hot. The cool water is waiting there for us to take a dive. Heat Wave
